EASTER AFRICAN CLASSIC SAFARI RALLY - DAY 05
Car #33 / Support Team East African Classic Safari Rally 2025
None of This Would Happen Without…
With the “rest day”, and all of the maintenace, repairs, and adjustments, to our #33 Glen Edmunds Advanced Driving/ Vehicle Dynamics Institute, SSS Rallysport prepared Datsun Violet GT, yesterday was the day we planned to reap the rewards of 10 days of updates, adjustments, and coaxing, every last bit of reliability and performance from the car.
With that in mind, Glen Edmunds and John Roberts attacked the course like they were on a mission to prove a point; because they absolutely were…and they absolutely did. By the time all was said and done, they had posted the second fastest time in their class (Class 3) in Competition Section 15, the third and final section of the day.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the continued support of our sponsor, Ronald’s, which is one of Africa’s leading accounting firms, with offices located across the African Continent. Which is why our team proudly and prominently display’s their distincitive paw print logo on the car, our fleet of support and service vehicles, our service area flags, and all of our team gear.
As the car is set to start the first section, our driver and co-driver are set to begin right where they left off on our mission to conquer “the world’s toughest classic rally”!
